The Victorian U21 Women's team came home with gold on the weekend after defeating NSW 3-2 in a nerve-wracking final. Leading 2-0, NSW came back and levelled with only 8 minutes to go, but a late goal to Madi Ratcliffe saw the team victorious.
Victoria came into the final having previously only lost to NSW 3-1 earlier in the week. They had great wins against South Australia 6-2, Queensland 3-1, NSW AAP 2-1 and Western Australia 6-1.
Camberwell was well represented with players Laura Barden, Krissy Bates, Jess Durst and Sophie Taylor, coach Luke Michael and manager, Courtney Mann.
Well done girls (and boys) on such an awesome effort.
