Working on an initiative of some of our junior helpers at Minkey, capably led by Brittany Simmons, Tim Guggenheimer, Hugh Emmett and Greta Brooks amongst others, over $200 was raised to contribute towards the much required recovery in the aftermath of Victoria's recent bushfires. 

 

Feeling a need to assist those devastated by the bushfires, our junior helpers decided to do something! They organised a raffle, convinced parents it was a good idea, worked out prizes and sold the tickets. Prizes included free Minkey registration for 2009/10 and hockey equipment. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all those who contributed in assisting to raise much needed funds. 

 

A particularly big well done to our juniors for leading the way so admirably!
